Matrix System

FloraFlex Matrix System is a pioneering method of effective irrigation. These unique designs allow for consistent soaking of the substrate as water flows precisely across the Matrix surface.

When used in conjunction with Matrix Circulator and Matrix Pad, feeding your plants becomes easy and efficient. Matrix pads are available in various sizes to accommodate different growth stages and growth preferences.

Matrix System is ideal for coconut and soil pots. This clever way of dispersing water over the substrate encourages better root growth, reduced watering requirements, healthier plants and also acts as a physical barrier to pesky pests.

Matrix System is the first of its kind top feed absorption system that provides the most uniform way to deliver water and nutrients to your potted plants. It can be used with pots between 10,5” and 18” in diameter. You will need a Matrix unit, a Matrix pad of the same size (optional), and the corresponding Matrix circulator.

In the Matrix system, water and nutrients travel to the circulator, reach the slope of the Matrix and are pushed out into eight labyrinth sections that have individual holes that drip the water and nutrients onto the absorbent pad. There are eight slices of cake, each section receives the same amount and runs through the maze for even distribution. The Matrix pad is a capillary mat used to absorb moisture.

Matrix is ​​reusable and can sit on top of your pot or fit into it, just make sure all surfaces touch.

Place the Matrix pad on your plant surface, Matrix unit on top, press down, place the circulator in the center holes and connect the 1/4” OD tubing to the circulator.
