Description
The AQUAvalve is a simple but very effective irrigation device, but it needs to be treated with care. Keep the AQUAvalve and its tray clean, free of clogs and soil particles, as it will help feed your plants for many years. The AQUAvalve is guaranteed for 12 months.
The AQUAvalve is supplied with all Autopot systems. Once connected to the water supply the AQUAvalve will control the flow of water to the plants, using simple gravity pressure from a water tank or barrel, no pumps, mains water pressure, electricity or timers required. Once connected to the AQUAvalve tank it will open and allow water to fill the tray, to a pre-set level of 20 mm. When the level is reached the AQUAvalve will turn off and prevent water from entering the tray until all the water has been consumed by the plants.
The AQUAvalve is supplied with the 1 Pot System, the easy2grow Kit, Aquabox and the 2PotAQUAvalve extension kit Advice – Remember to preset your AQUAvalve before use. When connecting using 6mm or 16mm tubing always ensure that the end of the tubing is immersed in hot water, this will make connecting much easier.
When all the water has been consumed and the tray is empty the AQUAvalve will reopen and allow more water to enter the tray. As the plants grow larger the AQUAvalve will open and close more frequently, with the plants needs filling the tray and then allowing it to empty completely before it is refilled allowing the plants to go through a cycle. dry and wet. At AutoPot we call this PCI technology or “Plant Controlled Irrigation”.
