Description
60 cm waterproof plastic tray or floor. wide with 7 cm edges. It can be cut lengthwise according to the desired size, its ends are closed and secured with zip ties, to make a tray tailored to the crop (it is important to add 14 cm in length to make the closures). Very useful to protect the soil from humidity, to collect excess water from watering pots in a single container or to irrigate by flooding, since being completely smooth there is no puddled water. Adaptable to any space, light, cheap and very resistant.
Unlike other models on the market, this tray stands alone and does not need square-shaped pieces to remain rigid and with raised edges.
Our custom growing trays are made of very light, flexible, resistant plastic and are very easy to clean. They come presented in the form of a roll and have the two 7,5 cm side edges marked. Tall. With them you can make waterproof trays or floors of the exact size of the crop.
The custom growing trays are completely watertight and can adapt to any space. They keep the soil dry, clean and protected from the negative effects of humidity, because they collect excess water from watering a large number of plants at the same time, preventing it from spilling over the ground.
These growing trays help save time and work when watering the crop, because all the plants can be flood watered at the same time, comfortably and using very little time.
As the bottom of the tray is flat, the plants absorb all the liquid and there is no water left that could emit bad odors. That is why this irrigation technique can be used even with biological fertilizers.
Instructions and assembly
- Cut a piece of tray from the surface you want to cover, plus 15 centimeters to close the ends and form the tray. For example, to make a tray that covers one meter in length you need 115 cm.
- They come in the form of a roll with 7,5 cm side edges. To assemble them, first fold a 7,5 cm piece. long from the ends towards the inside. The corners of these folds are folded in half (as seen in the photo of the hand with the spatula) and folded to one side (similar to when you want to cover a book or wrap a package). With a drill, make two holes that go through the three layers of plastic and secure them with a pair of zip ties.
- Once assembled, these trays are waterproof, completely watertight, and do not require any parts or fasteners to keep their edges upright.
- Below you can see some images with the steps for assembling the tray.
