These pressed peat tablets are very useful for both planting and making cuttings. They are made with top quality substrates. Thanks to a special binder, they have excellent stability and porosity, and maintain a good level of humidity.
Its use makes the transplant process much simpler, since the roots are not damaged during it, so they develop healthier and more quickly. The benefits are multiple: saving time when transplanting, gain in growth (not there is a stop in growth), and gain in the quality of the plants (less phytosanitary risk).
Jiffy-7 enables faster rooting, thanks to air pruning, which stimulates the growth of roots with abundant root hairs within the chip. This can significantly shorten the growing cycle, producing stronger and more compact plants.
Unlike other chips, Jiffy-7 comes in a compressed format that allows you to easily and safely store unused chips for the next crop. Efficient storage is a benefit of Jiffy-7, as they take up less than a quarter of regular chips. Jiffy chips are easily re-hydrated by hand with normal watering.
All Jiffy chips have a soft perforated center, to make even the use of micro-cuttings really easy. The completely closed external network allows the chips to be easily transported without loss of substrate. Additionally, the chips include a specially formulated fertilizer to provide the best start for young plants.
The tokens are made from peat moss, collected from carefully selected bogs, subjected to rigorous internal and government inspection. Peat is taken from sources where the regeneration rate is greater than the harvest rate, so the local ecology is not negatively affected. 25% coconut fiber is added to the peat, resulting in a fluffier and more airy final product.
With its increased porosity, less water is consumed and it roots faster. Jiffy-7 is a planet-friendly, non-toxic organic product that provides farmers with economical alternatives to plastic horticultural products or other more expensive bio alternatives.
