Description

The Light Rail extension rail allows you to add an additional rail with its respective lamps. Includes 2m of rail. With the use of an additional rail, greater productivity per Watt applied to the Cultivation area is achieved. It also helps to match the size of the plants, also compatible with Light Rail 3.0, 3.5 or 4.0 systems (and other compatible systems)

LightRail 4.0 AdjustaDrive

Self-driven motorized linear lighting system. No pulleys, chains or gears. Simply mount the standard 6 foot (1,8m) rail on the desired surface and place the lamp drive motor on the rail.

The LightRail 4.0 AdjustaDrive kit comes complete with a variable speed LightRail motor and two-piece two-meter (6'6") rail, installation hardware, and instructions.

With the use of the rail, greater productivity is achieved per Watt applied to the Cultivation area. It also helps to even out the size of the plants. With this version, the ability to control the movement speed of the LightRail is added.

The Light Rail 4.0 model comes equipped with switches to adjust the stop time (0-60 seconds) and thus easily regulate the path of the lamp, depending on the development of the plant. We recommend starting with a delay of 30 seconds and waiting a few days to see the development of the plants. More delay means more light on the sides, less time will give more light to the middle part of the crop.

For rectangular growing surfaces, a motorized linear lighting system is recommended. The self-powered Light Rail 4.0 Adjust-a-drive model is, without a doubt, the best motorized linear lighting system on the market. No pulleys, chains or gears. Simply mount the standard 6-foot (1,8 m) rail to the desired surface and place the light drive motor on the rail.

LightRail 4.0 AdjustaDrive will move any indoor lightweight. For those with greater weight, we have extreme duty cart wheels available as an upgrade option that are very easy to install.

LightRail 4.0 is a scalable system where up to three indoor grow lights can move in line with the use of one light engine. LightRail is perfect for any indoor lighting system, greenhouse lighting, dedicated all-season greenhouse grow lights, setups for tent growers, and commercial grow facilities. LightRail AdjustaDrive, the scalable DIY light engine for any space, should be considered an important part of your indoor grow kits, and an integral part of any indoor grow light.

What is Intelli Drive?

The innovative, fully integrated PCB circuitry of the Light Rail 4.0 Adjust-a-drive's sophisticated solid-state control puts the control you're looking for in your hands. Thanks to the adjustable 0-60 second timer, you can "adjust" the lamp stop time at each end of the path to meet the changing needs of your garden.

Why move the lighting source?

Stationary indoor grow lighting only illuminates the specific areas of the leaves that are directly below it, which can cause limited growth and even damage to the plant, similar to sunburn. LightRail Light Mover solves this problem by moving the light kits over the tops of the plants, so that the plant leaves are illuminated from different angles. This activates photosynthesis in parts of the plants that normally wouldn't receive much light with a stationary grow light system.

Moving a light on a 6 foot (1,8 m) track should increase the coverage area of that lighting source by approximately 1.6. This translates into a decrease in production costs because the performance of a single lighting source increases. The lumens produced by a grow light decrease as the distance from the bulb increases. To avoid the plant-killing heat associated with stationary grow lights, the bulb should be kept further away from the plants.

For example, your plants end up getting far fewer lumens than they actually need. By moving the light, you will be able to increase the plants' tolerance to the light from the lamps (and you will be making better use of the lighting source) without generating the dreaded heat. This translates into a decrease in operating costs and an increase in performance. If you can move the light from one end of your garden to the other consistently, you will be able to apply the lighting at a greater variety of angles. This ensures that the foliage that grows at the bottom of the plant, which is usually only shaded, receives more light.

As a greater surface area of the plant participates in the photosynthesis process, it will be able to reduce its costs and increase its yields.
