Description

Tea Bag Lurpe Natural Solutions It is the ideal container to place the different ingredients to make compost tea. The mesh allows water to extract and dissolve nutrients while retaining large humus/compost particles.

The Tea bag has a carabiner with which to attach the bag to the container in which we are making the Tea. Put the ingredients inside the bag, roll up the neck of the bag using the clips and close it.

Don't forget to massage the bag so that the ingredients come into contact with the water and do not generate pockets of dry material. It is very important to clean the mesh after each use.

This bag is made of resistant mesh similar to screen printing, or mesh for making water hash, with a density of 400 microns.

How to use the Lurpe Natural Solutions Compost Tea Bag

This design allows us to fill it with the mixture chosen for Lurpe compost, either the growth one, called Green Sunrise, or the flowering one, Healthy Harvest.

Whichever one we choose, we will introduce 80ml of one of the two mixtures inside the bag, along with 160ml of worm castings or homemade compost, for 10L of non-chlorinated water either left for 24 hours or oxygenated for 2 hours with a pump. of air before adding the other ingredients.

Then, we introduce the bag with the mixture into the water, and massage it gently, to ensure that all its contents are wet, and that there are no dry bubbles inside.

Next, we add 1.5-2.5ml of cane molasses for each liter of water in the tank, and we connect the pump with the diffuser stone so that it begins to oxygenate and stir the mixture.

We leave it like this for between 12 hours and 48 hours (12 hours if the water is at 25ºC, 48 hours if it is at 10ºC) and, after that time, we remove the bag from the water and we can use the tea in irrigation or foliarly.

We will apply it directly to demanding crops, or at 10% to crops with lower productivity, providing a large amount of bacteria, fungi, micro organisms and protozoa that promote the biological processes of the earth and prevent the appearance of diseases.

  • Use non-chlorinated water, if you don't have it, oxygenate it for 2 hours with the air compressor or let it sit for 24 hours.
  • Place the bag over the tank and add the ingredients to it depending on the volume of water to use:
    • 1,5% good compost/worm castings.
    • 0,75% other ingredients.
  • Microbial inoculants.
  • Close the bag, place it in the water and massage it to moisten the elements evenly.
  • Add 1,5-2,5 ml/l of cane molasses.
  • Air for 12-48 hours.
WATER TEMPERATURE 10ºC 15ºC 20ºC 25ºC
OXYGENATION TIME 48h 36h 24h 12h
  • During the process foam may be generated, it is not an indication of the quality of the tea.
  • Drain the bag to take advantage of the remaining juices.
  • Water without filtering.
  • Undiluted for the most demanding crops.
  • Dilute up to 10% in less demanding crops.
