Coco-Mix Pallet 50L (65 units). The Coco Mix substrate from BioBizz 50l is an inert medium in which to grow our plants, this means that the roots will grow in an environment deprived of nutrients and bacterial life, this is why the gap between soil and hydroponic can be defined, because the roots have a lot of more availability of oxygen around them and this makes them grow much faster, in addition to receiving nutrients in each irrigation with a controlled PH and EC that increases production up to 15-20%.

To achieve incredible, high-quality productions we will have to be exact when regulating the Ph and Ec of the irrigation water. With each watering you will have to let approximately 10% of the irrigation water you supply come out from under the pot, so that it carries traces of salt from the previous watering out of the pot.
Coco Mix is probably the best 100% ecological coconut fiber on the market. Coco Mix contains coconut fiber, a product that, although waste for the coconut industry, turns out to be an ideal medium for plant growth.
To be usable it must first decompose over a long period of time until the fibers soften. It is then washed and shredded to become the substrate we all know.
Coconut fiber retains little moisture and therefore aerates the substrate quickly. Coco Mix from Biobizz has an average PH of 6,1 and an EC level of 0,3.
Unlike other manufacturers who chemically soften coconut to speed up the decomposition and washing process, our Coco-Mix decomposes naturally for 20 years before being washed exclusively with natural water.

How to use Coco-Mix
Coco·Mix can be used in all hydroponic crops to replace rockwool by filling small containers and treating them like a conventional bucket or pot.
Growers who prefer to adopt more ecological techniques can use Coco·Mix in combination with their usual A+B range fertilizers, or preferably and to obtain better results with Biobizz products such as Root Juice, Bio Bloom, Top MAX or Bio Heaven.
Coconut fiber is designed to be used in any part of the cycle. From rooting clones (or germinating seeds), to flowering (or maintaining mothers).
A large amount of fertilizer is not necessary to use it, a simple base of a specific coconut fertilizer, such as canna coco A+B, or Hesi Coco among others, works perfectly for correct plant growth. We recommend adding some type of root stimulator such as Rhizotonic, NoShock or any brand of fertilizer to maximize root growth. We recommend always using mineral fertilizers (non-biological) for their quality and better performance.
Advantages of Coconut Substrate
- Greater water retention capacity. (our pot will remain humid longer than with soil).
- Better aeration of the substrate (our pot will have greater aeration capacity, avoiding excess watering and allowing the distance between waterings to be lengthened.
- It maintains a good balance between water retention and aeration capacity (something very important to avoid root rot).
- Greater porosity. The porosity of the substrate significantly influences the growth capacity of the roots and their root balls. Better root packages will result in faster, more vigorous growth, greater nutrient assimilation, and higher production.
- Great absorption capacity. This substrate quickly absorbs water, facilitating leaching (root washing) as much as possible.
- Great nutrient retention capacity. Coconut has a very high catonic exchange capacity. It can retain nutrients and release them slowly, avoiding their loss when we water excessively. For this reason, it is also always recommended to do progressive washing with Enzymes (Cannazym, Sensyzym, etc.) to clean the substrate of salt accumulations.
- inert substrate. Being a substrate devoid of life, the plants must be fertilized with each watering with the exact amount of nutrients that each variety requires. Pests in the substrate are avoided.
- Clean. It is a substrate that leaves no trace, unlike soil. They are coconut shavings, easily sweepable, without leaving any type of stain.
- Ecological product, unlike rock wool, it does not harm the environment. It is cheap and non-toxic.
