SensiZym, with a shelf life of 18 months (unlike competitive formulas), is a super concentrate of more than 80 enzymes, each of which has specific functions that enhance the growth of the plant and its roots. Some of these enzymes help catalyze water and assist in the transfer of nutritional elements to specific places. Others make plant regulatory processes faster, or help cell replication. Enzymes can do in seconds or minutes what normal plant functions do in days or weeks.

Most of the best competing formulas on the market today contain 12 enzymes or even less; SensiZym contains three times as many activity units as its closest competitor. By breaking down dead roots, starches, carbohydrates and nutrients, SensiZym accelerates plant growth and helps the development of beneficial bacteria.
