Description
Solux Pro DE LEC 1000W “double ended” mixed bulb (growth-flowering), to grow with a single lamp from the beginning to the end of the crop. White light aimed at growth and flowering with high CRI and exceptional PPF, you will improve the resin content. This type of luminaires offer the latest technology for indoor growing, they are ceramic light emitters or LEC, also known as ceramic metal halides, they improve performance, produce extra resin and save energy compared to sodium and LED bulbs. You need to use a Lec 1000W Electronic Ballast, especially for these bulbs.
LEC grow lights are similar to a metal halide (MH), but instead of using quartz they use a ceramic arc tube, very similar to what is used in sodium vapor (HPS) grow lights. That is why they are often called “ceramic metal halides.” The great advantages are that they have a higher light spectrum range, emit a more natural color, produce more light per watt, and last longer. These LEC lamps require a reflector with a dual or double entry socket.
These LEC or CMH lamps are superior to sodium vapor bulbs since they give more production than conventional equipment with a saving on your electricity bill of approximately 50%, in addition to generating at least 30% less heat, therefore so you won't need such a powerful air conditioning unit.
Regarding LED and LEP (Plasma) lighting equipment, LEC equipment has a much cheaper price, in addition to much greater light penetration.
The Solux Pro LEC bulb achieves an extremely high light/watt efficiency (220 lumens/watt) with an initial PAR of 570 umol/s. One of the most important characteristics of this LEC lamp is that it generates ultraviolet light, specifically UV-A and UV-B, allowing your plants to increase the amount of resin and the final harvest. Another feature worth highlighting is that these LEC bulbs can work up to 10 crops at 12 hours and will only have lost 10% of their power or intensity.
We remember that to operate LEC bulbs you will need an LEC ballast, conventional ballasts are not suitable, even if they are electronic.
LEC bulbs generate ultraviolet light, so you will have to enter your indoor crop with sunglasses to avoid damage to your eyes, and if you are going to be inside the crop for a long time, we recommend that you use sun protection on your face and arms to avoid skin burns.
