TIPS FOR EMPLOYMENT
Make a maximum of 1 application on citrus fruits and 2 applications on the remaining crops. The duration of protection is 14 to 21 days. The recommended volume of broth must be adjusted to the development stage of the crop. To prepare the spray broth, first fill the tank to approximately half its capacity, dilute the required amount of product in a small amount of water and fill the rest of the volume to be applied with water, keeping the broth under constant stirring. It should not be mixed with alkaline reaction products. Integrated resistance management must be performed to minimize the number of applications.
The use of the product should be avoided in crops that have been treated with other nicotinoids and in cases in which the treatment carried out with these products has not been effective.
Alternation should be carried out between treatments with Epik® 20 SG and other products with a mode of action other than nicotinoids. Due to the large number of thrips and varieties of ornamental plants, it is recommended to carry out a preliminary test in a small area before applying it to the crop.
TIME OF EMPLOYMENT
First symptoms of infestation. Preferably intervene on the most immature stages of the insects as they are more sensitive to the treatment. The recommended volume of broth must be adjusted to the development stage of the crop. More information: see label.
