Description
Basic automatic nutrient controller Prosystem Aqua It is a system that automatically controls EC (fertilizer) and pH levels, ideal for hydroponic crops.
This basic nutrient controller allows you to continuously measure and automatically dose your liquid fertilizers, while regulating the pH in your tanks.
A very simple, precise and complete system, suitable for any irrigation system or application.
The basic nutrient controller continuously measures pH and EC. It automatically doses the fertilizers added to the irrigation water using a peristaltic pump system, based on the readings made of both parameters.
The dosing flow rate of each of the pumps is adjustable from 0 to 400 cc/h and from 0 to 7 lt/h independently.
The Basic Nutrient Controller is designed for dosing into mixture preparation or parameter homogenization tanks.
- The Basic Nutrient Controller has 2 nutrient pumps (A and B) and a pH regulating pump.
- The Hydroponic System ProsystemAqua nutrient controller is an automatic fertigation system ideal for all types of crops, especially hydroponics. It is capable of applying various types of fertilizers together, while regulating the pH of the water in the tank.
- Fertilizer dosage control is carried out automatically by continuous conductivity measurement, obtaining a final solution or mixture with the conductivity desired by the client.
- The pH regulation of the water is also carried out continuously, obtaining the final pH desired by the user.
- The dosing flow rate of each of the pumps, with a capacity from 0 to 7 L/h, is independently adjustable.
- Possibility of increasing flow rate upon request.
- It is possibly the most advanced fertigation system and with the best quality/price ratio on the market.
Supplied with instruction and assembly manual, it comes fully equipped with a complete installation kit, including: nutrient controller, pH probe, EC probe, pH probe holder, EC connector cable, pH7 and pH4 calibration bottles, drive and suction tubes, injectors, supports and plugs for wall mounting, PPR collector and flow sensor.
The Basic Nutrient Controller has different elements that must be assembled according to the instructions for use that are included with the device. The elements you can find are:

Table of Contents
Operation Basic automatic nutrient controller
- Switching on the pH&EC controller – Once the controller is installed and connected to power, we proceed to program the fertiliser pumps by adjusting the pH and EC values we want to obtain in the water and regulating the quantity of fertiliser in each pump. We proceed to verify that the pH and EC probes are calibrated. We will program the working mode of the pH pump, acid mode (pH down) or alkaline mode (pH up). We must also program the irrigation start times and time.
- Pump recirculation – The water tank recirculation pump will be activated by the pH&EC Controller at the scheduled start time.
- Conductivity measurement – The EC probe detects the conductivity in the water and it is indicated on the controller display.
- Fertilizer dosage -The dosing pumps for conductivity control A and B draw from the fertiliser containers through the suction filter
- Fertilizer injection – The pumps dose the fertilizers through the injection valves and they are incorporated into the clean water tank through the water recirculation collector.
- pH measurement – The pH probe continuously measures the value in the water and indicates it on the controller display.
- Product dosage – The pH regulating pump draws from the pH down or pH up bottle and doses through the injector until reaching the value programmed in the pump.
- Activation of the irrigation pump – The irrigation pump will be automatically activated by the pH&Ec Controller, when it detects that the EC and pH values are perfectly adjusted and stable in the water.
- Level probes x3 (optional) – Maximum and minimum level probes, for regulating the water level and automatic filling. Minimum water level alarm probe, which deactivates the pH&EC Controller to avoid overdosing.
- Filling solenoid valve (optional) – It is activated by the minimum probe to fill the tank with water, and deactivated by the maximum probe once the highest water level is reached.
- Flow sensor – Deactivates the pH&EC Controller in case of lack of water in the collector.
